About my work
All my fused glass work is bespoke and original, and is as unique and as different as all of my clients.
Projects include panels for healthcare and hotel interiors, along with several varied panels now gracing residential homes both here and abroad.
I also make an eclectic range of smaller items such as stylish dishes and platters, showing a graphic quality often echoing the style from the 50’s with a contemporary twist. Sculptures for both interiors and gardens are also available to commission.
Influences come from many sources, often they are from landscape, colour, design and architecture; but also from taking in the world around me.
More recently, my work has developed a more fluid style which I am exploring as a result of a return to my own love of painting. This more painterly artwork in glass, often imbued with dynamic colour, is achieved by my intuitive freehand cutting in glass.
The alluring qualities of glass are thrilling, and I love the interactions with the varying light of day; constantly changing, allowing new detail and discoveries each time they are viewed.
